How to Measure an Existing Ring: Our Tips
Here are our tips for finding your perfect ring size.
Method 1 - Measuring an Existing Ring with a Free Sizer
Do you have a ring that fits you well but aren't sure what size it is?
If you already have a ring that fits you well but can't remember or aren't sure, there are several quick and easy solutions: Calculate the circumference of your existing ring or its diameter with a tape measure or ruler.
1. Considering that each finger's ring size is different, choose a ring that you wear on the finger you want to wear it on;
2. Print the Ring Size Chart below and place the ring on the circles. Remember that the inside of the ring must match the circle;
3. Now that you know the size, order your ring.
This method is perfect when you need to give a gift but aren't sure what the person's ring size is.
Method 2 – Measuring a Ring You Already Own
1. Choose a ring that fits well on the desired finger.
2. Place it on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (in mm).
3. Compare the value with the conversion table.
Example: if the inside diameter is 17 mm → this corresponds to an Italian size 14.

• If you're unsure about the size, always choose the larger one; "you're always ready to tighten, but loosening is always a problem."
• If you're looking for wedding rings, the size varies depending on the model. For so-called "comfortable" wedding rings, it's advisable to choose a half size smaller than a classic wedding ring.
• Band rings require a half size up for comfort.
